The Director of Family Support Lifeline (FASUL), Dr Alexander Eduful, has made a call to local and international stakeholders in the water and sanitation sector to help support sustainable and effective water management in rural and underserved communities in Ghana.

Mr Nicholas Annan, a second-year BA Economics student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana has become the first student to be awarded a Kiphart Eduful Scholarship (KES) from the Family Support Lifeline (FASUL)!

KCCGHSD located at the Crown School of Social Work Policy and Practice of the University of Chicago has awarded a research grant worth $10,000 to Professor Fumi Olopade and FASUL.

As always being the organization’s commitment and pursuits to ensure prolonged lives impacting projects in three thematic areas of operations, FASUL has established a centre for community development research.

FASUL continue to improve the lives and health of underserved rural communities by providing them with portable drinking water.

This year, FASUL has taken a retrospective view of its years-long livelihood-impacting interventions in the Kiphart beneficiary communities, with a renewed interest in deepening our impacts in managing the pre-existing and emerging socio-economic challenges faced by underserved communities in Ghana.

In August this year FASUL was privilege to have Professor Roberts Jefferey Chaskin in Ghana.

With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the international partners, CGH and the Kipharts requested FASUL to assess the covid-19 situation in the beneficiary communities and what we might do to help.

So far, the organization has constructed 7 low-resource schools across Ashanti and Central Regions. These include Krapa Kenilworth Basic, Manhyia Basic, and Prophet Emmanuel Village Basic Schools
